Dr. Niraj Kumar Singh is a renowned consultant physician in the Birgunj Metropolitan City of Nepal, which is located near the India- Nepal border in the southern part of Nepal.
He belongs from Birgunj, Birta-4. He had completed his Medical education at Vitebsk state medical University, Vitebsk Belarus. He completed his postgraduate from Nepal Medical College and teaching hospital Attarkhel, Jorpati under Kathmandu University.
He had done post graduate training in Diabetes. He established himself as Diabetilogist , Thyroid specialist and endocrine practitioner. He had few scientific publications also.
He had published few scientific papers like Metabolic syndrome in patients with COPD, and in Anemia.
His medical career started at Narayani sub-regional hospital in 2001.
He worked as an emergency in charge, and ICU/ CCU in charge in Narayani hospital from 2003 to 2009. There were lots of political movements during these periods. He was also general secretary of the Nepal Medical Association, Narayani branch Birgunj. In 2009 he headed towards Kathmandu for postgraduate education.
